Presented to a minority-owned firm that has improved the quality and delivery of healthcare through innovation.
Minority Health Products and Services Firm of the Year is presented to Vysnova Partners Inc. Since 2012, Vysnova Partners has teamed with federal agencies to develop and implement global public health initiatives. Carlos Rivera is the founder, chairman, and president of Vysnova Partners and has more than 30 years of experience working in the health and information management industry. Vysnova developed an innovative approach to implementing overseas projects and is currently supporting Federal Government programs in over 15 countries with payroll, tax, and human resource operations. Their work can be exemplified by the fact that Vysnova is on the frontlines of infectious disease research against Dengue, Malaria, and Zika. Vysnova effectively developed a niche in international program support and maintains a strong focus on becoming a leader in this arena. This has allowed the company to grow rapidly—more than 15 percent between 2015 and 2016. With a contract backlog, the company anticipates 2017 growth to exceed 70 percent. Vysnova’s rate of job creation is phenomenal, having grown from under 20 employees in 2014 to 150 today.
